A A R Y N L E E
Aaryn Lee is an interdisciplinary artist working in mixed media, printmaking, mark making, installation, projections, and performance. Her work is organic, repetitive, somber in mood, and touched with the muted overcast tones from her hometown of Portland, Oregon. Themes investigated in the work relate to memory, ritual, body dysmorphia, and the female body. Aaryn lives and works in Huntsville, Alabama currently and has a public studio at Lowe Mill Arts & Entertainment. She is also an adjunct professor at The University of Alabama in Huntsville where she teaches drawing foundations and at The University of North Alabama where she teaches three-dimensional design.
